Steve is a 30 year veteran of guitar and has been playing professionally since high school. Steve has appeared in Spot Light For New Talent section of Guitar Player Magazine. He has one of ​his original instrumental compositions, "Steve's Quick Pick"

used as background music for MTV's " Date My Mom Show "and a local cable program as well. Over the years Steve has played all styles of popular music and has had the chance to open up shows for some of the biggest names in the business.  Steve has backed IMAJ on lead guitar, an upcoming young female country singer in the Dallas Fort Worth area,  also performed with Miss Yolanda Collins. Steve has studied under former-GIT instructor and jazz great Rick Severson and Andy Romer. ​Steve is well groomed in playing contemporary  Jazz, R&B, Funk, Rock and Country styles. He relocated to Central California from the Dallas area where he is playing in a contemporary jazz, R&B blues and lite rock band called Natural Bridge 

    Steve and his brother, the late great bassist Bill Bernd produced an album together called Permanent Solution, which  got much notoriety and currently sells on
Apple ITunes , Napster, and many other online music sights.
